Another top loader topic

I'm a trying to find out as info as I can on which top loader would have came in Horne 62 Galaxie  , we're they side loaders in. 62 then ford went to top. Loaders in 63 , also what is the length I would need to look. For that would work in my car any info would be greatfull , I got a chance to buy a toploader for $660 here local I had David key look it up its a wide ratio and from a 66 Galaxie would that one work . I really like this website
1962 ford Galaxie 390 .030 Ross pistons,comp cam,edelbrock heads,tremec 3550 , 9" with 4:10 gears.....it's my idea of therapy , I'm always looking for vintage Stewart Warner gauges with curved glass and the crecent pointer

The toploader wasn't released until part way through 64. The 66 Galaxie toploader will bolt right into your 62, and you'll like the wide ratio for normal street driving. It is 27" long, just like the stock Galaxie T-10.
