Must be where some members of the "Ford FE Engine Enthusiasts" Facebook Group get their "facts"?
...I tried to tell him that the early blocks didn't have screw in freeze plugs but he didn't want to hear it.
Over the next eighteen years, Ford would offer the FE engine with 332, 352, 361, 406, 410, 427, and 428-ci displacements.

Unfortunately there are a lot of guys out there who think they know a lot about FE's but really couldn't tell the difference between a C5AE-F head and a C8AE-H head. And if you try and correct them they will tell you you are wrong. I had one guy tell me that one of my 427 blocks was just a bored out 390 because it didn't have screw in freeze plugs. I tried to tell him that the early blocks didn't have screw in freeze plugs but he didn't want to hear it.
