Hi Heiko,

I love the action picture and video, but being a fellow '63 Galaxie owner, I'm a bit biased.

And also welcome to Jay's forum.

Welcome Heiko
That is just too bad man. :P
That is a dream bucket list item for sure.
Looks to be some healthy springs and bars under it also. Cal Tracs?
Run down those worthless peasants. LOL

Yes there are a few things that i have changed:

Lower A-Arm Offset Shaft Eliminator Kit
1" front Swaybar
7/8" rear Swaybar
Bilstein Shocks from Race Car Dynamics
Cal Tracs
shortend 70th Lincoln Coil Springs in the front and four Power Disc Brakes
15" Steel Wheels

Here is one more from the Nürburgring, where you can see well that the tires have to work hard  ;)

Heiko,
Where did you get those sway bars?  I tried to buy a bigger front bar for my Gal from Summit but it didn't even come close to fitting...

Btw your car looks great at the famous Nurburgring!

Thanks,

Heiko,
Nice driving and thanks for the ride at the track. That has got to be a good feeling to pass the other cars with your Galaxie.  :o

Yes it was a realy good feeling to get some, but there are a lot of faster cars on the Track which are for racing only...
But for this year, the cards are reshuffled!

Was fun at all and there faces when thay want to overtake in the corners and the Galaxie still holds his Line is priceless  ;D

The Swaybars are from Quickor Garage, currently they have there kit on ebay for 295$ (very nice price) and i would recommand to install front and rear swaybar!
http://www.ebay.com/itm/59-60-61-62-63-64-Galaxie-1-Front-and-7-8-Rear-Sway-Bar-new-/261724213078?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3ceffa8f56&vxp=mtr

You have to know that you musst disassembly one side of your front A-Arms to install the swaybar, and i assume that the 1" fromt swaybar comes in touch with the lower A-Arm without the lower A-Arm Offset Shaft Eliminator Kit.

Thanks for the link Heiko!  I have the offset shaft eliminator kit already installed on my '63 Sportroof so hopefully the Quickor front sway bar will fit this time.

Hi all,
Just joined,  from Australia and will probably drive you all mad with questions.
Just want to say how impressed I am with the advice I've received from people already and the quality of that advice.
To read a book about these motors and then have the author giving you the "good oil" about building one gives merit and confidence the advice is solid.

Hello, im Thomas, automotive mechanic from Norway.
I have a 1967 HT Mustang with 351W and toploader and a 9" with a trak lock diff. I bought 427 december last year so i am bit "newbie" to this FE block.  I hope to find some good tips and tricks around here and maybe give others a tip or two also.
Greetings

Welcome, Thomas!  I think you might be the first member of this message board from Norway.  We already have members from Sweden and Finland.  Good luck on the 427 project.
