It's really quite funny to think some rich guy is going to loose money.
I'm a poor guy. Really. I was a Navy man and now work in security.
Trust me there is no money in either.
I have spent untold rolls of nickels "we don't have penny's anymore" on my rusty old junk and hopefully will continue until I'm gone .
This guy has more money in a couple of cars than I have made in my entire life.
It's not a hobby for him, it's some kind clothing or new shoes thing.
True car guys will always be and mega rich guys will always be.
I have to save up for a new part. He put's on a show to buy a car that to most is and will always be a dream.
Don't confuse the two.
BB here's a question for you.
How much is your Mustang worth?
ZERO. You will most likely never sell sell it.
It's part of your life and history. It is your Name. It's like your dad's watch or your mom's set of dishes.
There not for sale.
That goes for most of the long time hard core car guys.
The average car guy does not have a warehouse full of $100,000+ cars collecting dust.
He has one or two cars in a shed that need some work.
That collection of cars for sale is not true reflection of the car hobby.
Cruise night in town is a true reflection of the car guy and it is very strong in Dartmouth Nova Scotia.
But you will only see regular guys with modest Hot Rods and most need a bit of work here or there.
Just a poor car guys perspective.
