In 1996 I opened up the push rod holes in my blower intake , sadly I broke through into the intake port on a few, i used PVC Pipe and JB weld ( not optimum but it held ) , fast forward to now , they are finally leaking and allowing Oil to be drawn in , looking for advise , and where to get tubing to repair the holes and what kind of sealer to use on them

i used 1/2 copper water pipe as a backer and tig welded the holes then pull out the copper made for a great repair.

Ace Hardware has brass tubes in incremental sizes from about 3/32" to 3/4" x 12" long. I buy them in 7/16" to 5/8" and cut them in 2.5" lengths and install them with JB Weld. Clean the pushrod hole with lacquer thinner, and rough up the exterior of the brass sleeve with a piece of sandpaper, and mix your JB. I use a small screwdriver and coat the inside of the pushrod hole all the way through, and then push the brass tube in place and then set the manifold on it's side to keep the brass tube level so it will stay in place without moving. Let set up for overnight, or if you use the quick set, until hard. Blend the JB with cartridge roll, and interior of port where any JB came through. Should last for many years. Joe-JDC

+1 on Joe's method, a hobby store is another good alternative for finding the thin wall brass tubing you need.

McMaster and OnlineMetals.com also have a good selection of thinwall tube. Bought a few pieces from McMaster last time I needed some.
