Jay, I hope this is ok, if not, give me the word and I will delete it. The annual Speedtalk software group buy is on again. Good deal for those that are interested.

No problem, thanks for posting that. Lots of good software there...

I'm in. I really like my Performance Trends software but it'll cost $300 or more to get from v3.2 to v3.4. So if this goes, it's good stuff for a great price. Need to save somewhere, this new dragster project is eating my lunch, the lunch pail, the refrigerator and everything else.

Glad to see your response Chris as I bought the set and was hoping that is was worth it.
-
With no surprise it appears they've reached their 200 goal for the group buy as they charged my card last night. I'm looking forward to having some new listening material while at work. According to the link they hit 403.
-
Got my download code, yey... Now I just gotta find the time to see down at the PC and download everything. Maybe get a slow rainy day or a late night when I can't sleep.
-
403 orders. That comes out to $39,897 before any surcharges are taken out by the credit card company. I imagine at least 300 of those orders were from people who probably wouldn't have purchased the software due to cost, but with the deal, couldn't resist. A fast nickle is better than a slow dime.

For my money, the interviews are probably the best part of the deal. Darin Morgans was excellent, lot of meat there. I have only listened to three so so far, his, Joe Sherman, and Stahl, but man, LOTS of good stuff in there!
-
Listening to Larry Widmer right now, his comments on cleveland valve seat/throat are worth hearing.
-
I thin the Density will be OK, have not used the Quarter Jr. yet. The Engine Pro item is pretty useless IMHO. "If everything is perfect, here's what you should get" - not what I expected. Will listen to the other things later but that part is encouraging. I got the bundle hoping it's be a decent compromise and the upgrade to my EA 2.2 is about $200. Well - is what it is.
-
I kinda agree on the Engine Pro, dont really find it helpful. Same thing I need to upgrade EA Pro, this sure as hell isnt fill that need... ::) But man, the interviews, if some of that stuff doesnt get you thinking...The only dud so far was the guy from Comp Cams. Harold Bettes is really good too.

Did you guys get something in the mail? Or is there just access this info online? I didn't see any e-mails come through with links or access.

Check your junk folder, maybe your filter put it in there?

Be sure your system will open zip files once you download. It's been a pain in the a$$ for me..
-
Yes, the link was delivered via email. Just download a ZIP file and unpack it, then you can install each program.

I did receive the receipt in e-mail. But, didn't see anything else come through. I think I will have to write them.

Found this to be funny....
