Looked in my 66 202 comet, and it doesn't have the anchors. 68 Cyclone fastback has them. Not sure how much I would actually trust them. That whole area is pretty flimsy.  Rob

They will lift a complete 460 and c6 into a 75 f150 , never had a problem with them as long as the threads are good in the manifold.  That is with aluminum manifolds.  Use it with confidence. Rob

Another source is under the dash, behind the windshield washer switch area. There is a yellow plug that has three holes in it. It is keyed hot and acc hot. Usually only has one wire plugged into it, and is a heavy gauge wire. Makes a good source with out cutting old wiring. Rob

Do you know what the oil temp is, I would bet it gets pretty warm. When you slow down the cooling system is soaking up that heat. Just a gues on my part. Rob

They just set the pin in that hole for safe keeping. ;) Rob

Lock pin for engine stand, would be my guess. Rob

Hi Joe, I should have a pair that were removed from a 68 fairlane. The car only had 60000 miles or so on it. When I go out to my shop today I will check casting numbers. Will have to ship from billings mt, maybe a little spendy. Rob

Bump goes to the top, and stud will be towards the front of the engine. The bent over flange will be to the rear. Hope that helps. Rob

I know what you mean with their packaging. It seems that the boxes from Texas are the worst. Everything is beat up, no filler material, the boxes are occasionally open. Surprisingly nothing is ever missing. Also, Texas doesn't even put packing slips with the order. Rob

I just measured a bare block, and come up with 4.1165 inches. That should be pretty close. Hope that is useful. Rob

I will say this about using e10, do not leave that crap in the tank all winter, you will have issues in the spring. I have found that much more then a couple months in a open fuel system like our old trucks have, it gets bad real fast. I only use straight premium in any thing that sits a Lot.
I am glad you finally have the truck running good,  I have followed this from the beginning. Rob
