I have read that before about the GM aircleaners. If I had dual fours I would probably have still built the bucket and used the OEM style Stellings air cleaners but I am not trying to feed a monster engine.....Cory

Hi..yes I did all the aluminum and stainless work myself. After I built the airbox I had the montecarlo bent up to suit the lines of the airbox...Other than the airbox all that stuff is now in my 67 Mustang T/A clone and new stuff has been built for the 68..

I will try the copy and paste img suggestion...

^^^What he said!! Very nice, Cory!
Now you guys have me concerned that my oval is limiting my engine. I REALLY hate to get away from the factory 427 air cleaner though, and no way am I punching a hole in my hood!  :o I might need to find a temporary ducting method for the track.

I didn't want to part with my oval air cleaner either but it just wasn't working for me.Once I built the airbox my under hood "theme" kind of changed..The factory 427 Pentroofs are now in a box ..The C7-F intake has been sold as well.....On the up-side the air box is going to look very nice on Jays new intake.
The 427 Oval air cleaner now lives in a Cobra replica...I supplied him with 427 as well.........Cory
