An oil filter mount as you know. But it appears to allow an oil cooler hookup. Maybe marine or heavy truck?  :-\

Hah! Super Cobra Jet!

But.....the later GT-40, FE equipped distance racers did of course use engine oil coolers. I don't know if they used the two taps on a similar filter mount to route the oil to a cooler. Anybody know?

If it's what it looks like, it is a dual port adapter for the 427. Worth some money...

One channel has to be "out" and the other "in" for that to work with a cooler. That's the "in" passage to the block, from the filter. Just looks to be two sources for oil pressure senders unless that top horizontal passage isn't drilled all the way through.

Scott is right, not intended for a cooler. Prolly has something like a C3AE-6884-A number?

You nailed the part number.

Both passages intersect the filter outlet passage.

Yep the 427 dual port adapter. I got 2 of them setting in the garage waiting to go on my 427s. Always looking for another.

Those are hard to come by and fetch a few pennies. I have one someone made, the only way to tell is by the incorrect part number.

+1  427 only.  There is another odd one that was made for the  Cammer .  The front port is angled and it has an XE number instead.
