Entrant tells the dyno operator what rpm they want to end the pull. Must start at 3000, but they will only use the dyno numbers between the parameters, or what you tell them under the maximum. Case in point, the Poly motor did not complete their three pulls but still placed 2nd with their averages. A couple of the engines fell on their faces at 5400 rpm or so, but still made tons of low end torque. Average torque plus average horsepower x 1000/cubic inches-rounded up, for scores. 302.1 cubic inches = 303 cubic inches.
My question was: Will the numbers change if you go past the upper rpm but still use the cut off number? IE Set the upper limit at 6500, but only read the numbers to 6200 rpms. Joe-JDC
