I use Moroso 47190 in my wagon. I did cut 1 turn off them, which puts it on the bump stops which makes it pretty close to the ground for headers.
For the last 10+ yrs I thought this is what the car needed. I spent a day in July doing some shock testing and found out otherwise. I have since bought a new set of 47190's and will install them UNCUT to raise the car up 1-2" this winter. I don't have time to do it before the last couple races this fall. After my testing I had to put a new oil pan and radiator in the car.
Granted I have ladder bars and the chassis likely responds differently then Caltracs? Up to this point I knew my car liked(needed) 8" of front end travel, but once I finally did some testing and found out I was completely wrong I want to get the nose of the car off the ground. At some point I would like to make it street legal-ish and take it to a local cruise in.
