Even if it were to haze a bit, you could clean it with a solvent to get rid of any oil residue, and take a benzene torch(burns clean) and carefully bring the flame into contact with the haze, and the lexan would clear up. Joe-JDC
Thanks for the tip and nice to sort of meet you. I was in the old Ford at the shop the other day. Next time I will say hello. I am going to take it easy on parts for a while. Need to use up the parts I have bought this year. Would like to get the clear covers and timing cover at the same time.
On the extreme end it would be really cool to make a one off clear block, heads and intake. I am sure the clear plastic water pump and alternators are out there.
