WTB: 1965 Comet headlight ring
« on: June 16, 2020, 11:59:10 AM »
I need a headlight ring for my '65 Comet Cyclone. More specifically, I need the headlight ring for the lower left headlight.

They have a "clip" on one side and a spring on the other side, unlike a Mustang which uses 4 screws to hold and the headlight in place.

Any Comet guys out there?

Thanks, Tommy

Tommy would they be the same rings as on a Galaxie?
I don’t know but I do remember that setup on my Squire.
If so I may have one around.

I've only seen them on a Comet. I still have a few Comet pieces around. I'll have a look.

No go Tommy. I got to look this morning and don't have anything 65. Seem's to me that was a one year only thing.
