Cam bearing usage on 427 marine block.
« on: November 23, 2018, 03:55:12 PM »
The block I got last summer is a marine block not drilled side oiler core. Which cam bearings would be correct for it? Std 390 hydro or 427 side oilers. When I got it the block had been tanked and oiled. Getting ready for assy and running a factory solid lifter cam. Barry, Brent or Blair?

Are the cam bearing bores in the block grooved?

Brent, yes the bores are grooved. Lifters were solids and the oil passages are not drilled. Blair I`ve been trying to get in touch with you, but the phone says message box is full. Garry
