Well this is a Great subject, and good hearing the stories. Oh how I can relate to things not going perfect! If weather looks right I'll tow mine, otherwise I'll just drive my daily driver and visit or help who I can! Raincoat, umbrella, gloves, warmer clothes travel with me always as I work outside. Opportunity to meet and visit with you all in person at least once per year would be a shame not to follow up on, especially with all the hard work of planning that goes into it.
The Comet is dialed in better, weather permitting I'll get at least two test sessions before the FERR to tweak the issues I'm still dealing with, building a new car and combination at once is exhausting, but what I've learned with what's still to learn makes it all worthwhile, and has taught me to appreciate listening(reading) what Jay,Blair, Barry,Kuntz,Jeff Colvert, plus many others in their conversations tell us. Priceless.........................Al

Nice job Brent, sounded nice too, will be interesting to see and hear difference in camshaft change! Captain Blair's experience was mighty close(under by 2 ponies) in the corrected #s, with correct RPM! Look forward to next iteration............Al

Congratulations...... Glad to see Father and Son getting noticed! They have nice cars and Scott's gets with the program as well, getting a small tire hooked up is not easy.            Al

Very nice, Al! Not only is the car beautiful, it's consistent...and fast! I can't remember if you had mentioned it in the past, but what did your engine horsepower dyno at?

Thank You Doug  Always enjoy reading your posts!  Have never mentioned Dyno horsepower. Jim Kuntz said,"that's the most repetitive one I've ever built, put it in car where it matters most."  I'm understanding now as I get this new chassis figured out, "numbers on the track mean more."  Kinda neat too, having folks ask at the track why my car sounds so different, and telling them, "it's an ole' FE"..... 8)          Al

Nice runs - good track you have there, nice.  Weird people in hoodies.  It was 85 here Saturday, DA 4200' - real good weather.

Thank You...I guess cool damp Michigan weather 58/60* 88/90% humidity requires hoodies for some!   DA ??? don't know. The track surface is very old! Thank God they were able to lay some new cement(200') a few years back, it also sits on highest ground in area!               Al
