dose anyone know the a part number for a shifter handle that will fit 66 fairlane bench seat with this style comp + shifter?

FE Technical Forum / 66 fairlane 4 speed toploader hydraulic throwout bearing install tips!!

I got my custom hydraulic throwout bearing today after a long wait to have it made.
I am looking for any installation tips.
I have a lakewood scatter shield what i would like to do is make the gearbox removeable from the scatter shield wile still in the car this would require cutting/slotting of the back of the scatter shield to allow non flexable line fittings sections to clear when installing or removing the gearbox. Has anyone cut drilled or taken a die grinder to there scatter shield/bellhousing or changed the fittings on the throwout bearing so that gearbox and scatter shield/ bellhousing dose not need to go in and out with the gearbox?.
As it is now if i have to install my gear box and bellhousing as 1 unit it will require removal of left and right side headers starter motor waterpump alt powersteer pump rad/fans and i think engine mounts too. Any tricks and tips will help pic of my style of throwout bearing is bellow. Cheers JB

Can i set one of these relays up to prime a fuel system before cranking the engine?
I had a car that was set up that when the ignition was turned to the on position it would run the pump for 3-5 second and then turn off fuel pump to prime the fuel system before cranking and it would start the pump once the engine starts. I think it was a tachometric relay was used?

I just got my self a set of these https://www.trickflow.com/parts/tfs-56490931 They look far higher quality then other exhaust gaskets. Has anyone used these yet ? if so how did they fit with your exhaust headers/exhaust porting? any install tips?. I have not had a chance to check them to my ported bbm heads yet and I am running fpt headers. I will let people know how they fit my combo I am still a few weeks away from first fire up but i will repost then too say how they worked for me. Like to hear what people think of them.

Any one know off hand the size of a scat 4.250 6.7 rod crank's pilot bearing OD and ID gear box is a big shaft toploader?. My engine is still at my builders.

I am looking for some advice on what the range i should start at for first fire up and brake in engine is 482ci 11.2 to 1 comp. Cam is solid roller advertised duration of 258 264 @ 50 installed @ 2 deg advanced timing for start up will be 24-28 deg running on 98 octane fuel here is a list of the programable settings. I am just looking advice for a nice safe starting point rest can be tuned wile driving.

Any one know the size of the hex for bbm water core plugs I need to but a nut to make the tool to remove them but my block is still at my engine builders.
