do all tracks have a scale never even thought to ask
Most larger tracks have scales, especially if they host national or divisional events, because some classes have a minimum weight, or other classes like Stock or Super Stock the cars have a specific weight and that gets checked after a winning run, for example. And if the track runs specialty events, like when we’ve done Hot Rod Drag Week, some classes also have minimum weights that are checked. Even in classes that don’t require a particular weight, like in bracket racing, racers often like to monitor their race car weight, whether for the day or even between rounds, adding or removing ballast, fuel level (weight), etc. can all be used to adjust your ET. Just some examples of why a track having scales is nice, and most do. Some smaller tracks don’t always have them.
