Cracked oilchanels

Some FE blocks crack in the oilchanels
Up to the heads!
I think i saw a description on how to fix
that here on the forum anyone

I remember seeing it as well.
Here is a discussion, but the link to the Gessford site is dead. The site is good, but the oil galley repair info doesn't seem to be available anymore.
But there is a description of one method in one of the posts:

A search on the net brought up a lot of hits, but only a couple were FE specific.
EDIT - I dug deeper into the FE Forum and came up with another thread where Barry R chimes in.
I also looked around at the AERA.org site, but couldn't find the referenced article/bulletin.

I looked for that old link also and couldn't find it.

The last time I had to do this was years ago, and the tried and true method then was to drill it out and use a pushrod pressed into the channel and trimmed to length, using a little sealer or epoxy on the ends just to make sure it sealed. About any type of correct sized seamless tubing would work, but the pushrod method seemed pretty good.

I dont know IF i have the problem
But the Engine got water in the oil
So i just swaped engine at that time
In the 80s
Now i have the bare block and building
An Engine out of it i have pressure
Checked it and found no leak but
I thought its better to fix it now
even IF there is no problem
As i remember it they use to crack
Where the diameter of the chanel
Change
I thought i silversolder two diameter
Tubes together and epoxy them in
The hole

Because the oil transfer tubes to the head run under pressure, it always results in oil in the water, not typically the other way around. It might have just been an intake or head gasket issue...hopefully.

Okay....it was missmatching heads on
The Engine and it was a fresh rebuild
When i bought the Fairlane the Engine
was "instaled" in.So i suspekt they have
chased the waterleak
The p.o gave up on the water leak and
sold it
And i swaped in a Cleveland and tore
Down the fe and realy dont found any
Leaks in any gaskets so i left it alone
Now i have pressure checked the block
Cant find any leaks exept a small freze
crack outwards to the flywheel so i gues
The block is okay as long as there is no
Crack that opens when the Engine Warm
Up
I suspect the Intake gasket myself
