In need of 1/8” oil rings
« on: May 31, 2021, 11:02:16 AM »
Hello, this is my first post. I’m starting assembly of an old school stroker with a 428 crank in a 427 block. I’ve run into a problem with piston rings. My NOS TRW L2298 .030 over pistons require an 1/8” oil ring. My Hastings ring set has 3/16” oil rings and I can’t seem to find any 1/8” oil rings listed anywhere for that bore size. Anyone have a suggestion or know of a ring I can use?

Have you tried Total Seal?  They have the widest selection of rings that I've seen...
