Title: BBM cast iron Block torque specs
Post by: Jb427 on October 25, 2020, 02:23:11 AM
Is the BBM iron block main and cross bolt torque spec's the same as a std 427 cross bolted block? The BBM has 7/16 cross bolts being larger then std?.

It’s different because the fasteners are different.  I use 110 on the mains and 55 on the side bolts.

Whoops, yes, 65, fat fingered the 55, laying in bed using my phone.

I do use 3 steps on the side bolts too though out of habit.
