like the paperwork printed -58 that was in the box says. A German precision instrument therefor
should be treated  like that. If a malfunction occurs leave it to your salesman for transport back
to the factory for proper rebuild and calibration
There was quality stuff when they where delivered in a hardwood box

When I was an apprentice technician for Mercedes-Benz in 1980-82 we used a moto-meter on every tune-up service and stapled the little print-out to the repair order for the customer to see.

We were also taught to remove the ignition distributor and put it in the Sun machine, install the points, check the curve and vacuum advance on the machine before putting it back into the engine.

Being an apprentice for the old crusty German guys was hard...but they actually taught you how things worked.

Little tolerance for stupidity or laziness though.

Cool looking old tool, but looks a little too bulky to use on a FE powered shock tower car, especially with tall pantroof valve covers! ;D

There is different extensions straight and bent, and hoses you
can put on it. With this one there was only different rubber cones
The one i had was from a Chrysler dealership so it had the straight
extension for the Hemi and two different bent ones and a hose extension
and it was a double set, so one gas and one Diesel. I still have the extensions
and the Diesel gauge
They are still sold new so you can buy all the extensions and new cards
and spareparts like the oneway valve and new glass and card holder etc

On the paperwork inside the box, it's being held like a gun. Are you sure this thing is legal? ;D ;D
