SOHC Inspection Covers

Dress up the front of your SOHC engine with these CNC machined aluminum inspection covers. They feature raised ribs with rounded valleys between them that mimic the size and style of the original SOHC valve cover ribs. The block letters are also machined to be similar in style to the original "427 SOHC" valve cover lettering. Replacing the plain aluminum or steel inspection covers with these CNC machined versions will add a touch of class to your SOHC engine.

These covers are available in a a variety of styles, including as-machined aluminum, bead blasted for a cast aluminum look, and clear powder coated or powder coated between the fins in red, light blue, and dark blue. A clear plexiglass cover is also available for the right (passenger) side, to allow monitoring the chain tensioner and chain without removing the cover from the engine.

The covers are delivered with seven stainless steel button head cap screws for attachment to the timing cover. The machined aluminum covers and clear plexiglass covers are normally available from stock, while the bead blasted and powder coated versions require an extra week for delivery. Shipping in the continental US is via US Postal Service Priority Mail, $5.20 for 1-2 covers, and $10.95 for 3-8 covers.
